About PixPipe

Free, privacy-first AI image toolkit

What is PixPipe

PixPipe is a free, bilingual image processing toolkit that takes you from AI generation to publication in one step. Whether you're generating images with Google Gemini, Midjourney, or any other AI tool, PixPipe handles watermark removal, optimization, and publishing preparation.

Our Tools

  • AI Watermark Removal — removes Gemini watermarks using mathematical reverse alpha blending, not AI inpainting
  • AI Image Upscaler — enlarge images up to 2x or 4x using the Real-ESRGAN model
  • Smart Compression — adjustable quality slider with real-time preview of compression results
  • Format Conversion — convert freely between PNG, JPG, and WebP
  • EXIF Stripping — one-click removal of GPS location, camera info, and other privacy-sensitive metadata
  • Social Media Resizing — presets for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and more
  • AI Image Detection — detect AI-generated images using metadata and pattern analysis

Privacy First

PixPipe runs 100% in your browser. Your images never leave your device — no uploads, no storage, no tracking. Even the machine learning model used for AI upscaling is downloaded to your browser and runs locally.

We believe privacy should be the default, not an add-on. That's why PixPipe requires no sign-up, no account, and no personal information.

Why PixPipe

  • Completely free — no hidden fees, no watermarks on output, no usage limits
  • Fully private — images processed in your browser, zero server uploads
  • All-in-one pipeline — complete multiple processing steps at once, no switching between tools
  • Batch processing — upload multiple images and process them all together
  • Bilingual — full English and Chinese interface

Who Built This

PixPipe is built and maintained by Mario, an independent developer based in Vancouver, Canada. He started PixPipe after one too many times uploading a personal photo to a random website just to compress or resize it — and realizing he had no idea where that image actually ended up.

Modern browsers are now powerful enough to do this work locally, with no server involved. So Mario built PixPipe to run entirely on your device using the Canvas API, WebAssembly, and on-device AI models — your images, and anything hidden inside them like GPS metadata, never leave your computer.

What began as a single watermark remover has grown into a full toolkit: EXIF/metadata stripping, AI upscaling and background removal, resizing, compression, format conversion, and in-browser video transcription. The principle hasn't changed — useful image tools shouldn't make you trade your privacy, your money, or your data for convenience.
