Vinted Photo Size Guide (2026)

Vinted shows listing photos in a vertical, feed-style scroll, so portrait images at a 3:4 ratio (e.g. 900×1200px) take up the most space and stop the scroll. Square 1:1 also works and displays cleanly.

You can add up to 20 photos per listing — far more than Depop's 4 — so there's room to show every angle, detail, and flaw. The first photo is your cover and appears in the catalog grid.

Vinted compresses images on upload, so start from a sharp original (at least 600px on the shortest side) to avoid a soft, low-quality result.

Cover photo: the full item on a plain background or worn, in natural daylight. Bright, clean covers get more clicks in the catalog.

Show the real condition. Vinted buyers expect honesty on secondhand items. Include close-ups of fabric, labels, and any wear — it reduces disputes and returns.

Add the details slot. A photo of the brand label, size tag, and measurements answers questions before buyers ask, speeding up the sale.

Keep a consistent look across your wardrobe so your profile feels like a curated shop, not a pile of clothes.

Photos taken on a phone embed the exact GPS coordinates where they were shot — usually your home — inside the image file. Vinted does not guarantee this data is removed, and any original you keep or repost still carries it.

Anyone who downloads your listing photo can read those coordinates and drop a pin on your door. For secondhand sellers photographing items at home, that's a real risk.
